There haven't been any spokespeople explaining away any delay in opening because there hasn't been any delay in opening. |

There haven't been any spokespeople explaining away any delay in opening because there hasn't been any delay in opening. Whatever. It was just a light hearted remark. All that money spent on new track , trains and doing up the stations so the south end has a through service to stations that were already well served and the north end goes to places no one will ever want to visit. Except it doesn't go to finsbury park , the one destination that might have been useful. B2003 |

I think you'll be surprised at how popular Dalston is becoming - theatre, jazz club, famous market etc - and Highbury at the upper end of Upper Street and by more clubs, the Arsenal etc is hardly not already popular. E. About noon today, the line diagrams on carriage 8057 of District train 043 showed an interchange with Overground at Whitechapel - there is another at Barking. The platform hoardings have gone from Whitechapel and access is now prevented by red and white striped tape. -- Walter Briscoe |

Moreover, I am hopeful that in time we may see further development. Perhaps in time we will have a four track NLL with ELL trains reaching Camden Road, or even Queens Park. There are no plans yet, but who knows! |
