previously got some photos off the platforms of them at Hainualt.
Also, how will they be removed from Hainault, by rail or by road?

Don't suppose you know when any of the remainder will depart? I wouldn't
mind photographing some of these trains on their final journey, especially
as the ones at Hainault are in reasonably good condition.

Saw them going down the Barkingside High Street. Cursed that I didn't
have my camera - I'd have been proud of a snap of a train heading down

As far as I know, there are still one or two trains at South Harrow and
Uxbridge sidings, and two trains stored in 32 and 33 sidings near

South Harrow), which are in the (not particularly hurried) process of being
prepared for scrapping.

Lillie Bridge was there as of two Wednesdays ago. Apart from one or two

year whilst filming took place using the preerved 1960ts unit, did it
not return?

There is still a four car unit at London Road (nicknamed the Gary Day
train by the infrastructure staff) but I think gets robbed for spares.

72 TS returned to Aldwych after the filming with the Cravens unit
It was there in Nov 2003 - I assume it is still there

I read somewhere that they have to run it up and down the branch to keep the
batteries charged. Anyone know when, how often, and which drivers get that
job?

Oops, forgot that one! Yes, AFAIK, the 72ts did return to the Aldwych branch
after the 60ts left.
