Large amounts of employees in Tfl including underground management have
e.mail access. The formula is simple: For example Find the name of who is in charge and ask the questions. Use these two rules: 1. Always be polite 2. Be concise |

An additional requirement you have to send an email, wait a month then send another email that includes the first one asking why a department that calls itself "Customer service" completely ignores email enquries and surely not even acknowledging receipt they may as well change their name to "Customer Comtempt", then you get a reply to what must be someone elses question. Is there also an additional requirement which says that LUL members of staff who post to this group trying to be helpful have to listen to every single complaint and moan from anyone on the group who has ever used or interacted with LUL? It really does get to be a bit much. -- Paul C Admits to working for London Underground! |

Yeah but if forwards a message from the public to the customer services dept, then presumably it actually gets actioned, whereas messages directly from the public appear to go in the bin. |

I posted the information not so people could complain as much as get
information from the ones who know. Hence asking to be polite and concise. To say you should put everyone to the press department or customer services is just silly.(They also get things wrong) Can you imagine if you asked a member of staff which platform to go to and they said they were under contract not to reveal the information. When it comes to passing information about service disruption onto customers. I think you will find that frontline staff have as much difficulty finding out as the travelling public. As for no PA for seven years then maybe you should ask the local staff why not. Try asking on a day when there is no disruption you may get a better response. |
