Drivers have no need to know how it works: it's just like any other automatic gearbox. |

So it's at best a semi-automatic. No, it's a full automatic. Just put it in D and it does everything, just like any other automatic. You don't have to decide when to change gears, or in which direction, or actually do anything for gear changes to occur. So it's just like a traditional torque converter automatic, but with faster, slightly less smooth changes. |
