When does an Oyster pre-paid journey end?
I think Marylebone is a special case and the interchange time is
extended for this very reason On 30 Mar 2004 15:32:38 GMT, Adrian wrote: SJCWHUK ) gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying : Like magnetic tickets, you have 15 minutes to cross from one barrier to the other, taking longing is considered a break in your journey. Hmmm. So... Let's say the Met line is broken - again - and I want to use the Marylebone Chiltern Diesels to get to the end of the Amersham Met instead. I emerge from Baker St, walk the 5-10 minutes to Marylebone, then wait 20 minutes for a train. Ooops. I've taken a break, so get charged for another ticket. Even ignoring the time factor, if I get a Marylebone in the morning peak, I *have* to walk to Baker St to get into the tube, as the Marylebone Bakerloo line is exit only until sometime in the next millenium while somebody builds a new escalator out of matchsticks single handed. Is that a "single journey"? |
