Is that one which has distances to the major cities of the Empire?

There are probably dozens of markers up and down the country. I saw a
milepost-style meridian plaque in East Grinstead the other day, and at
the other end there is one near Ottringham in East Yorkshire. There is
a marker in Cleethropes, and I believe Louth. Someone, somewhere has
probably got a website listing them all. Some OS maps have a big line
to mark the meridian - I knew someone who won a competition and got as
a prize the complete set of Peacehaven - Tunstall maps.

There's a Millennium Meridian marker on the A10 Melbourn bypass:

http://greenwichbook.com/line/os-maps.htm is helpful.

Thanks - that answers a question for me, I had been wondering which
hemisphere my daughter, who lives in York, was in!

In London, but nowhere near the Underground, there's a meridian stone in
Coney Hall recreation ground. (Nearest NR station: Hayes)

During a brief period of working in Cambridge some years ago I had the

morning!

You can't have worked in Cambridge then! The meridian passes some miles
West of Cambridge.

If he lived west of the meridian and worked nights, then his journey
home from Cambridge would cross it in the morning.

Yes, but with a daytime job that would be from Western to Eastern
Hemisphere every morning ...
