New Met line timetables

Has anyone managed to get hold of or seen the new timetable for
Amersham/Chesham Met Line which starts on the 23rd of May?

As normal the new Chiltern line one is available both on line and from
stations, while the nearest I have seen of the underground version is a
sign stuck on the (normally closed) ticket office at Amersham that
states "no new timetables" The TFL website still has the current version
only for download.

If anyone has one of the new ones could you do a quick run down of the
southbound weekday times from Amersham between 7- 8 am for me please.

But a printed timetable in your pocket / briefcase / handbag / shoe is a lot
easier to refer to than a wedge of A4 paper when you are stuck on a station
platform that has no public 'phone, let alone internet access - and there's
no staff to ask, and as the OP states - the displayed timetables are out of
date or non-existant.

Chiltern have published their timetable on their site. They claim an
extra non stop Marylebone to Amersham service in the evening as an
improvement, but I think this train leaves before 5

As for the mornings between 7 and 8 I can't see any difference, thus we
could assume the Met services won't change much as they would impact on
the Chiltern services.

I saw a notice at Wembley Park which implies that the SB off peak services
from Amersham, not calling at Northwick Park & Preston Rd, will use Fast
Line, and Plat 6 at WP, instead of Plat 5. Whether this means a change in
timing I don't know.

So what LUL platform has timetables displayed that are out of date or
non-existent then?

Ask the chappie behind the counter in Barons Court which zone Beckton Park
is. A quick look up at something posted on the staff side of above the
window tells them that it's in zone 4.

Are you saying the booking clerk didn't know?

Not only didn't know, but insisted that his out of date knowledge gained
from whatever was pasted up over the window somehow attained a priority
over the fact that I live at Beckton Park and therefore should know.
Anyway, this argument went back and forth a while.

Yes I can and did for the exact time that I know I will be travelling on
Monday. But as I can work on any day of the week and travel in a fairly
broad time span, it is not very practical to have them read out 20
different train times down the phone.

I have this problem almost every time the twice yearly change happens
and can't understand why London Underground are incapable of getting the
new timetables to the stations (Amersham in my case) in time.

The fact that the stations beyond Moor Park are (I believe) the only
section of the Underground that still issue timetables to the public
make it seem even more incompetent, and this is compounded by the fact
the Chiltern line always have the new ones available about 2 weeks
before the change is due to occur.

I haven't looked recently but I had a SB train cancelled on me last year
at Amersham and when I looked at the platform timetable, it turned out
to be a very faded copy of the one before the (then) current one.
