Rail and tube workers to strike - They have done it again!
Tournament after tournament the RMT and Bob 'Scumbag' Crow will organise an
all out strike on the railways that will cause misery within the country. Why does the RMT stage a strike whenever England have an important match?! |

The first semi final in Euro 2004 is on 30th June. If England beat Portugal they will be playing in it. The strike starts at 6.30pm on 29/6/04, and finishes at 6.30pm on 30/6/04. This means that any RMT member whose start of shift booking on time is between these times does not turn up to work for their shift. The upshot of this is that services should start to deteriorate on the evening of 29/6/04. Then on 30/6/04 it will be chaos all day. Some staff whose booking on time is after 6.30pm on 30/6/04 will have to turn up to work during the match, but the vast majority who book on before that time (for, say, an evening shift) will be off during the match and all evening. 30/6/04 is a write-off all day (unless NR management play a blinder). All that the few staff turning up after 6.30pm will do is get a few trains in the right place for the next morning. Bob Crow knows what he is doing. Colin |
