The Newsagent where I normally buy my monthly bus pass has told me that
in future I must buy it on Oyster. I don't see any mention of this on the TfL website. Does anyone know any more? John Haines |

I'm pretty sure that's the overall intention. Do you have a problem with
Oyster? "John Haines" wrote in message ... The Newsagent where I normally buy my monthly bus pass has told me that in future I must buy it on Oyster. I don't see any mention of this on the TfL website. Does anyone know any more? John Haines |

I can imagine Ken saying that to the TOCs before asking them if they want to take it outside. -- Dave Arquati Imperial College, SW7 www.alwaystouchout.com - Transport projects in London |

I can't say I blame them! -- message by Robin May-Silk and his close friend, Robert Kilroy-Kotton "GIVE IN! IT'S TIME TO GO!" - The NHS offers a high standard of care. I can't say I blame them! But you can't completely disenfranchise them. Especially in a town with a large number of tourists, you have to design a system that works for them as well. tim |

One day travelcards, one day bus passes, single tickets, carnet. It's not as if they have no method of using TfL services! -- message by Robin May-Silk and his close friend, Robert Kilroy-Kotton "GIVE IN! IT'S TIME TO GO!" - The NHS offers a high standard of care. But if you look at the title of the thread and go back to the orignal question you see that it asks if ODBPs are only to be issued via Oyster in future and it is this ticket type that I am commenting upon. No, it asks if monthly bus passes are only to be issued via oyster. I don't see how this in any way inconveniences the traveller. One day bus passes are still available on paper. In fact, I understand that they are *only* available on paper. -- message by Robin May-Silk and his close friend, Robert Kilroy-Kotton "GIVE IN! It asks if *monthly* bus passes are to be issued by Oyster in future. No mention of ODBPs at all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Haines" Newsgroups: uk.transport.london Sent: Monday, June 28, 2004 11:46 PM Subject: Are paper Bus Passes being abolished?
