On Sunday a service train was on the Northbound platform at Colindale.
It looked quite different from the usual trains, and there were computers, desks and things like that inside - plus a guy who looked fairly busy. I know the NL was messed up on Saturday, but I've never seen a mobile office of this kind before. Someone here must know all about them, though! Tim -- Tim Gowen |

... Track recording train? Depends. The Track Recording Train was stabled in Highgate Depot on Sunday afternoon, however if the sighting was morning or evening then it would be very likely to be the TRT on the basis that it was on the Northern Line on that day. |

See: http://groups.google.com/groups?thre...rchin.earth.li I was told it was probably a track recording train, but none of the pictures i was pointed at looked anything like it. CONSPIRACY! tom -- It is especially delicious (haha) and tacky at the same time when they stick a strawberry on two toothpicks in a weird imitation of Christ for no particular reason and give it to you with your drink. -- jisms |

Maybe i was thrown by the fact that in the photo, it's hooked up to some big NR cars, whereas when we saw it, it was hooked up to tube cars. Or maybe you're part of the conspiracy too. tom -- there is not much call for a Chinese George Michael |
