Tfl's website now says that a second phase is planned for December, with
expansion into North London being developed next year.

Does anybody know which routes these will involve? I've had no luck getting
an answer out of Tfl as yet.

All the best,
Jonn

I don't see how they can expand the mainline train services in north london
without demolishing lots of buildings. Theres no room left for new track.

It's not about new track, it's a combination of more frequent services and
re-branding. It currently covers the Twickenham via Richmond, Teddington via
Wimbledon, Dartford via Greenwich, and Croydon via Norbury lines. I'd guess
Hayes, Dartford via Bexley and Croydon via Sydenham might be in the next
lot; and the Shenfield, Chingford and Watford lines after that. However,
this is all guess work - was wondering if anyone had any actual knowledge.

Thanks,
Jonn

The WAGN lines from Moorgate could be brought up to ON standard with an
extra train or two, maybe getting back the trains that were given to
Silverlink during a previous economic downturn.

A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood.
That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line -
It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes

Running them after 2200 would help, too.

On Question Time last night, Tony Benn was saying that the way to solve the low turnout at elections was to make voting compulsory. I think the solution is for someone to start a political party that doesn't contain wall-to-wall *******s. -- John Rowland
