Yes, it depends whether the fastest journey is more important than ease
of interchange. By changing from Picc to District/Circle at South
Kensington, you get the ex-Wimbledon trains as well as the Circle, you
avoid a possible wait at Earl's Court for a change of driver, and
there's one station skipped (West Kensington).

However, on the District I've quite often overtaken a stationary
Piccadilly e/b train at Barons Court. Is that a timing/regulation point
in addition to Hyde Park Corner? (Cue Steve!)

I wouldn't call the addition of the Circle line many trains at all.
;-) Certainly not the sort of number that would warrant changing
levels rather than walking across the platform.

And right on cue... ;-)

No it's not, although the 25 mph limit into the 'pipe' towards Earls
Court can cause things to be a bit slow sometimes.

I've been very rarely there more than a minute unless something is
seriously going wrong.

You also get the addition of the Wimbledon trains as well. There are 25.5tph
at South Ken and only 12tph at Barons Court.

Exit East Croydon Station, turn right, proceed along George Street to
Wellesley Road (second turning on the right). Lunar House is about 300
yards along, on the right-hand side. The walk should take 5-6 minutes.
