Arnos Grove
Hi all,
I can't remember if this has been mentioned, but anyone concerned about the endless tide of humanity plummeting head first off the roof of Arnos Grove can be happy in the knowledge that the flow has been stemmed, thanks to LU putting railings all around the edge. Fortunately, the station's beauty can still be enjoyed in the many old pictures of it which exist. -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

Similarly, I noticed some railings on the roof of Boston Manor station, but I've no idea how long they've been there. -- Richard J. (to e-mail me, swap uk and yon in address) |

Those magical moments of my childhood will be gone forever. Can't someone stop them? -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. Sudbury Town has them too. -- Steve Fitzgerald has now left the building. You will find him in London's Docklands, E16, UK (please use the reply to address for email) |

Not sure that's true.
Bounds Green has had similar scaffold pole type railings added to the roof and they have remained long (many months) after the painting work was finished. "Steve Fitzgerald" ] wrote in message ...
