Does anybody know a list of them? If you go to the TTfL web site http://tube.tfl.gov.uk/ and look at the first & last trains schedule for each line, Sunday closures are listed there. Didn't see a consolidated list anywhere. |

Chancery Lane, Cannon Street and Temple. Seems like there used to considerably more. Lancaster Gate used to be closed on Sundays IIRC. |

Looking at a 1972 map it gives Covent Garden, Ravenscourt Park and Shadwell as closed on Sundays and Barbican, Fairlop, Mornington Crescent, Roding Valley and West Brompton as closed on Saturdays and Sundays. West Brompton reopened at weekends with the opening of the West London Line platforms, I believe. Of course, at the moment, Sloane Square, St James's Park, Blackfriars, Mansion House and Tower Hill tend to be closed on Sundays, along with Wembley Park, Preston Road and Northwick Park... -- Dave Arquati Imperial College, SW7 www.alwaystouchout.com - Transport projects in London |

With the shift to seven-day opening, I wonder if the three remaining six-day stations will open on Sundays any time in the near future... |

I imagine Cannon Street only would if the NR station also did. Otherwise, would it actually have any pass - er sorry - customers? -- "Mrs Redboots" http://www.amsmyth.demon.co.uk/ Website updated 23 January 2005 with new photos |
