Between East Putney and Putney stations there is now a new bus lane
(don't know why because the service is very infrequent). Thing is that the bus lane has several red route 1hr restricted parking bays in it. It also has a traffic enforcement cameras sign at the start... How does that work? If parking in the marked bay within a bus lane - which part of the bus lane may you use to get to the parking space... Also the rest of the Westbound traffic is now restricted to a lane of about 3ft width so what happens to traffic which is wider - should they straddle the bus and their lane or should they straddle their lane and the oncomming traffic lane |

Do the bus lane's operation hours and the parking bay's operation hours overlap? -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

Presumably - I haven't seen a sign saying hours for the bus lane so presumably its 24/7? The 1 hr parking is allowed during the day 10am-4pm according to the sign |

Interesting idea to put up the enforcement signs before the signs explaining what they are enforcing... no wonder traffic wardens, etc. are hated by so many |
