What is a more interesting point is the extent of enforcement because
the implication is that no one who is intoxicated may use LU. If that
was enforced we would hardly have anyone travelling on the last trains
each evening.

Would _you_ like to be the one to tell someone like Windy that
she couldn't use the Tube after a night out with the boys?

I would imagine the majority of the travelling public carry
alcohol on the tube at some time or other.

The rule is there so that football specials can be designated "dry"
when required.

These bylaws apply to LU only. Do London Buses have their own similar
bylaws? Does anyone have a weblink to them?

I know TfL have Conditions of Carriage that apply to all their
services, but these relate to ticketing rather than behaviour.
