Did Metromess ever give a reason other than "unforseen
circumstances" about them closing an eastern part of the central line for 4 days and then doing bugger all work? Will they get a hefty fine for this eff-up or will it be the standard slap on the wrist and business as usual? B2003 |

According to the Metro, they couldn't get enough people to do the work.

I hope that Metronet have shafted the subbie. The subbie would be Balfour Beatty, who have a 20% share in Metronet. Can't see that one going down well. |
