The London Area of the IRRS runs this popular event, now in its 28th season, which will be held in Chiswick Town Hall (in west London) from 11.00 - 15.00 on Saturday 24th March 2007. The Hall is easily accessible by Underground (Chiswick Park or Gunnersbury) or bus. There will be over 30 sales stands selling all sorts of interesting transport items. Admission will be £1.50. From the TfL web site: DISTRICT LINE: On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 March, suspended between West Kensington and Acton Town/Richmond due to planned engineering works. Piccadilly line trains will call additionally at Ravenscourt Park, Stamford Brook (westbound only) and Turnham Green throughout the weekend. Replacement buses operate between Turnham Green and Gunnersbury, for Silverlink connections to/from Kew Gardens and Richmond. Customers for Chiswick Park should use Gunnersbury or local bus services to/from Turnham Green. .................................................. .................................................. ................................ Sunday after IRRS, the Manchester Transport Museum Society is holding its annual Spring Fair at the Boyle St Museum,. Cheetham Hill, Manchester on both days. Metrolink and a short walk from Woodlands Road or a vintage decker from Victoria Station will get you there |
