After months of refurbishment of Arsenal tube station including a
re-tile of the platforms, they've now built concrete black pillars
either side of each cross passage.

Anyone know why? They certainly look like an after-thought (surely
they'd have built them before tiling?)

Dunno why they are there, but handy for ****ing behind as a late night
reveller was doing the other nite!!
