It wold also mean that I was right with the first guess, but there has to be a first time for everything. |

writes It's not Temple. I'd go with Tower Hill outside rail. I wouldn't - the Outer Rail platform is on the other side, is curved, and has bits of support and Roman brickwork all over the place. -- Clive D.W. Anyway the flickr photo looks very similar to the brightened LU photo Stepney Green is the best match: http://flickr.com/photos/nuakin/82477206/ The Stepney Green photo is actually http://flickr.com/photos/cinnamonmuse/447160461/ and shows brick surfaces between the girders and a dot matrix display, neither of which match the LU photo. My vote is for Aldgate East. -- Richard J. (to email me, swap 'uk' and 'yon' in address) |

My vote is for Aldgate East. You may be right, but it would have been taken from the opposite side. The more I look at the two, the more I see that it matches Stepney Green. The girders and bricks can be seen clearly in the LU picture if you put the brightness up. |

My first guess would be Cannon Street, but I could easily be wrong. Well, joining in with a "first guess", I would go for Temple or just possibly Tower Hill....... It's not Temple. I'd go with Tower Hill outside rail. Mornington Crescent! (I win!!) :-) -- Brian "Fight like the Devil, die like a gentleman." |
