Is this because they are using the Desiros rather than 321s?

Does anyone know what stock they used on the other special to the
match?
Looking at the fare, there must have been something else thrown in,
maybe a Class 81-85 and 14 MK1's maybe? They could always shunt along
the platform at Aston to let the supporters off in two goes!

That was 1985 when class85 and Mk1s were stopped twice in Aston or
Witton depending on which fans they were bringing

They must have been Everton supporters for the match against Luton,
couldn't imagine an electric loco for the short hop from where the
fans from the south would have come across?
