Town on Sunday afternoons which complicates its signage as an
interchange.

But it surely must still compare favourably with a lot of London's
more difficult interchanges. And if you wanted to get from, say,
Hackney Wick to East Finchley it would be by far the easiest route.

This may be more of an issue. It could be dealt with using the same
kind of asterisk that denotes Saturday closing or something.

I think there are quite a lot of journies that would be easier if the
map had a symbol that could denote an on-street or lengthy
interchange: something to suggest that at, say, Forest Gate/Wanstead
Park or Seven Sisters/South Tottenham, interchange was possible but
not for the faint hearted.

No, it's okay, that station's 'Clapham North', implying it's the northern
station in Clapham; 'North Clapham' would be the main station in North
Clapham. It's like Leyonstone and Leyton Midland Road. No possibility for
confusion at all.

Or if you still don't like it, Clapham Norther? Clapham Arctic?

It would be if there was a station with that name. Consider what
happened at Thornton Heath. Thornton Heath *used* to be the name for
the area around the pond. Then the station opened a small distance
away, buildings sprung up around it, and the name moved. These days,
Thornton Heath means the area around the station, and if you want the
original place you have to tell the cabby Thornton Heath Pond.

The December edition of the London Overground timetable has an even
newer diagram. It shows the ELL extensions and the replacement bus
services. Walking interchanges are shown with the distance as the
linking device.

Watford Junction is now the only "special fares apply" station. There
is also a note that PAYG is not valid between New Cross Gate & Crystal
Palace / West Croydon.

interchanges shown are Canary Wharf Jubilee to Heron Quays and Canary
Wharf DLR, and West Hampstead Jubilee to West Hampstead London
Overground.

I'm still surprised they're not bothering with Camden Town/Road, which
would make the north london line look much better plugged in. Can only
conclude they're worried about overcrowding.
