Sad moan
 

I am sure we have all heard the sad moan of urban transport
operators that the customers wouldn't notice if the wheels of the
trains were replaced by skids.

I was lately telling this joke to a woman who makes the daily
journey from Stevenage to London and she said "Er, have they been?"

Groans!
