Despite being in the timetable and local gossip, the station was not open
today and is clearly some way from completion. Any new date proposed? Month? Year? Century? MaxB |

Don't know how you manage to keep abreast of everything. -- Paul C Admits to working for London Underground! |

It would not surprise me to find out that this happened several times. |

I'm not sure why the footbridge, complete with a MIP lift on each side, is there at all. |

I'm not sure why the footbridge, complete with a MIP lift on each side, is there at all. Does it just connect the station or is it for general pedestrian use? Currently, the frequent closing of the crossing in such a built up area causes much inconvenience (it doesn't help the road traffic much of course!). Lifts do seem a bit over the top, but hey, it's only money! MaxB |
