I understand that the new High Speed One and DLR station is to be called Stratford International and the existing station Stratford Regional. Is there any sign of 'Regional' in signage at Stratford (on new National Express branded signs) or maps? Will it be Stratford Regional on the tube map? It's never been the intention to change the name of the station. "Stratford Regional" is an internal name used by urban planners/ Olympic bods/TfL, and quite often seen with a lower case "r". They do say they'll review it in 2010. U [cc'ing uk.transport.london] -- http://londonconnections.blogspot.com/ A blog about transport projects in London |
