More diverted trains
Hi all,
According to the poster displayed at West Harrow station, anyone wanting to get to Moorgate during the Baker Street - Liverpool Street closure should change at Finchley Road for the Jubilee to Bond Street and then get the Central Line to Moorgate.... You have to wonder how hurriedly these posters are put together. -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

I remember back in the late 1950s when I lived in Ilford, Essex, there were A5 dispensers near the booking office windows that frequently contained change of service announcements as well as excursion leaflets. Both were on really cheap, possibly recycled, paper. Probably be collectors' items now, but we just pinched 'em to make paper aeroplanes. :-) I seem to recall the TSB was another source of similar paper, but better quality. -- Brian "Chuff! Chuff!
