It's work to commission the bay (the track needs moving out for P1 and
in for P2a) that will take P1 out of use, AIUI. P2 will, I suspect,
remain in use until this is done, else there would be no up slow
platform which might cause issues.

Presumably P1 will then open for through services and P2 be
"converted" for terminating services.

Have I missed something? *The TSO "UK" Rail Timetable table 66 shows
Southern trains running through to Milton Keynes both "until 23
January" and "from 26 January". *Table 177 has only one version and
shows the ones that run from Croydon.


The TSO UKRT probably predates the decision not to commence the full service
til 26 Jan, which is clearly shown in both the SN (link above) and LM pdf
timetables.


Maybe, but this still leaves some reason why TSO chose to include an
until 23 January section and a from 26 January section. I am
struggling to spot the difference between them.
