What are First Capital Connect doing with the Welwyn & Hertford Routes
to get it so wrong ?

It seemed Mickey Mouse under WAGN and reminded me of a hobbyist system.
But First Capital Connect seem worse !!

Since about September the trains seem constantly delayed and the excuses
are always the same. Cable Problems, Signal Problems, all none of their
fault of course. Then you get trains missing stations and you can end up
miles from home.

Maybe it is time to forget the Banks and bring rail back under public
ownership. I remember my trip to work in the 70's with huge affection.
Most mornings the trains ran well and it didn't cost a small fortune.

I commute from St Neots and generally the service runs pretty
well. Perhaps they've just got it in for the inner suburban routes.

I use the GN Outer services between King's Cross and Cambridge and I would
say that reliability has got better since the franchise change.

Relations between FCC and NXEA (as they are called this week) are
absolutely dire, however, with the poor passengers sometimes left as piggy
in the middle.

I didn't know that, and I use either FCC or NXEA most days. How does
this show itself to the passenger?

Is the same true of FCC and NXEC?

Not that I am aware.
