Tube question
Hello,
I'm going to book my hotel in London-Barking area (served by "Hammersmith&City" and "District" lines). Are these tube lines operating even on Saturday (late) night and Sunday (early) morning? What time is the last train on Sat-night at Victoria heading to Barking? And the first train on Sun-morning for the inverse route? Or, shoud I better to find where to sleep somewhere else? :-P Thanks! |

... Hello, I'm going to book my hotel in London-Barking area (served by "Hammersmith&City" and "District" lines). Note that most of the hotels in Barking are a long walk from the tube, and I think they are also a long walk from buses. You might try http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/ and enter the name of your hotel. -- John Rowland - Spamtrapped Transport Plans for the London Area, updated 2001 http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acro...69/tpftla.html A man's vehicle is a symbol of his manhood. That's why my vehicle's the Piccadilly Line - It's the size of a county and it comes every two and a half minutes |

The hotels in barking nr the A406, have a very bad rep, mainly for ladies of
illrepute. also the room prices start at £50 a night. look for b&bs; they offer better value. approx £25 a night.
