. 109.145: is actually rather misleading on this point? It's title is "Oyster rail services in London" yet Hayes to Heathrow is shown in exactly the same style as Paddington to Hayes. Likewise the line style doesn't change at Hayes so a quick glance suggests Oyster will be valid to Slough; yes, there is a note saying it isn't but the use of (say) a dotted or feint line would make this much clearer. As a brief point to this, they Paddington-Slough line would actually need to change at West Drayton not at Hayes. -- Graham Drabble http://www.drabble.me.uk/ |

Why's that then? Oyster PAYG is available all the way to West Drayton. So if the map was differentiating routes that can be used with Oyster the change occurs at WD not at Hayes. -- Graham Drabble http://www.drabble.me.uk/ |

So if the map was differentiating routes that can be used with Oyster the change occurs at WD not at Hayes. The change in question is on the line to Heathrow, which should perhaps be dotted (or otherwise differentiated, in addition to the text box) after the junction halfway between H&H and WD: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloa...ces-in-London- Jan-2010.pdf If for no other reason that it might alert the minister to the fact he's making misleading statements about Oyster being available on ALL (his emphasis) services on the map. -- Roland Perry |
