Default Another six months of closures on Jubilee line to finish botched upgrade - Evening Standard

Some more dodgy journalism...

"The Jubilee line upgrade will allow up to 30 trains an hour to run at
peak times - of particular benefit between Westminster and Canary
Wharf, where it is standing room only in rush hours." So there are
seats available throughout the peaks between Baker Street and
Westminster? And after the upgrade, everyone will get a seat on the
entire line?

Well, the Standard has been calling for seats for everyone on the main line
peak services for the past few years, so why not? :-)

Clearly no-one at the Standard has ever realised that as soon as additional
capacity is provided pax will simply turn up earlier or later as preferred
until they've wedged the trains again...
