Royal Oak
I just noticed that the Royal Oak pub at Porchester Road/Bishops Bridge Road has changed its name to The Porchester. I cannot imagine the business benefit of renaming one of the few pubs in Britain to have had a train station named after it. -- We are the Strasbourg. Referendum is futile. |
