f your agument is simply against disruption then you would object to
other things other than just the stopthewar.org protest. Besides, the disruption is more to do with 'security' than the protest. Not on this forum, but I am on record as objecting to the traffic jams caused by the G8 Conference whenever that was, and anyone who knows me will confirm that I have for very long objected to ANY demonstration in London that causes disruption. You have me down as a narrow-minded right-wing xenophobe: even if I am, that still entitles me to go about my business in London like anyone else. Or should that right be reserved for only those that share your political views? Of course the security will cause disruption: the organisers of the demonstration have already proclaimed that they will be burning some effigy of Bush, so the security forces would be negligent in the extreme if they were to let those intent on violence anywhere near Bush.
