As it is dated 31 March it seems a bit early to give such a warning. Is it possible that I have a problem with my card and it will stop working before the due date? You need to go to the Post Office *now* to get the form. It takes a couple of weeks to process now, not like the old days when it was issued over the counter. You can enter your details and have the completed application form downloaded by going to http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/fre...cationform.htm The official advice is to apply this week (1-6 Feb) if your surname begins with P to Z, and for anyone else who hasn't already applied to do so during 8-13 Feb. The above applies to the older persons' pass. I understand they are going to post reminders to everyone who hasn't applied for a renewal by mid-Feb. -- Richard J.
