Quite how long Shoreditch High Street will remain a concrete slug to the exterior world is another question. I dare say it may have to wait a little while until there's a decent development proposal that comes along. Maybe TfL should commission some artistic types (plentiful in Shoreditch) to decorate it... I know a few who would relish the challenge. It could even be a rotating thing - new design every six months or so. Maybe it could just a rotating thing.
