Reported on BBC News.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8562181.stm I foresee a summer of discontent on the tube, with the strikes no doubt carefully timed to coincide with England's matches in the World Cup |

Bob Crow said: "If these cuts to jobs are bulldozed through by Transport for London it will turn London's tube stations into a muggers' paradise." I didn't realise that Mr. Crow was in the labour advice market, and although one of his members was famously shown to behave reprehensibly to a passenger last year, recommending his members to start robbing passengers is a bit much. Assuming that's the Holborn incident you are referring to I think you will find that it turned out the gentleman in question was not a union member, let alone an RMT member. -- Steve Fitzgerald has now left the building. I can think of a choice words to describe the LUL employee and gentleman isn't one of them. Kevin |

I treat everybody equally. I don't know (neither do you) all the details in this case so I give him the benefit of any doubt. I've also snipped the excess crap that you left in your reply; you might also consider fixing your sig. sep. and dumping Outlook Express for a proper news reader. HTH -- Steve Fitzgerald has now left the building. You will find him in London's Docklands, E16, UK (please use the reply to address for email) |
