What is of (slight) concern is that the OP states that he was "sold" them or is he talking about a Railcard or something ? There were some enterprising staff around in the 80s, but I don't know any who sold ID cards ! Left luggage offices were always renown for the "one ticket for a group" scam. Especially when you had made sure the group would be back before you went home ! Richard |
