... What is a T and what the hell is a Q?? A "T" is an AEC Regal I, II or III, with half-cabs and a forward engine. (No connection with modern "T"s which are Leyland Titans of the modern persuasion. The old ones were STDs) A"Q" is an AEC Q, with a side engine. -- Terry Harper, Web Co-ordinator, The Omnibus Society http://www.omnibussoc.org E-mail: URL: http://www.terry.harper.btinternet.co.uk/ |

From: Robin May Date: 27/11/2003 19:05 GMT Standard Time I tell you what, I'll agree to avoid committing the crime of not knowing what a bus from the 50s is if you agree to avoid committing the crime of being a ****. Only a **** would fail to log on to Google, type in "rf bus" (complete with the inverted commas to create linked search terms) and see what it threw up before asking a fatuous question in a newsgroup, The information you get on a google search isn't always relevant to what you were searching for. For example, this google search didn't seem to turn up any links related to you: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...2total+****%22 -- message by Robin May, but you can call me Mr Smith. Hello. I'm one of those "roaring fascists of the left wing". Another high quality lesson from Robin May: Your and you're are different words! |

My post about Ts and Qs seems to have smoked out a few hypocrites who are eager to criticise people who object to this group being used to pose fatuous questions whilst being quite prepared to do it themselves. I suggest some of you adopt a consistent stance on this issue, or else do your trolling somewhere else. |
