Default Why people don't commute by bike?

In message , Roland Perry
writes
The Swedes invented (or put to work) the front wheel drive with the
SAAB for something. That's so much safe for small cars, better than
rear wheel cars and SUVs.

How about the Citroen 2CV early in the 1930s. Two cylinder air cooled
front wheel drive, made so that a farmer could carry fresh eggs across a
ploughed field without breakage.
