Victoria & Piccadilly Line Closures This Weekend

If the reason for both closures is work on the crossover at Finsbury Park, then surely the Victoria Line could run between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow, and the Piccadilly Line between Arnos Grove or Wood Green and Cockfosters? I didn't think it was straightforward to run a Cockfosters - Wood Green service: wouldn't you have to bring a train into the Wood Green WB platform, up to the sidings, then back down to the EB, before heading to Cockfosters? |
