Heard Peter Hendy beign interviewed on LBC this morning. He said that the
breakdown of the new train that ended up with 400 people being walked along the tracks was down to a brake pipe that came lose because it hadn't been fitted properly in Derby. Anyone have any more info? If its true it sounds like there could be some quality control issues up at Bombardier. B2003 |

B2003 I've often wondered ... what goes on during the "commissioning" process between delivery and going into service? Evidently not checking that sort of thing if they are blaming it on Derby. |
