As per this release date 22 December (yesterday) on the ASLEF website:
http://www.aslef.org.uk/information/...as_talks_fail/ I note it says "[...] as the union represents most drivers on London's tube system, disruption will be extensive and significant." The TfL response: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/medi...tre/17856.aspx Which starts like this: "London Underground (LU) today slammed the leadership of ASLEF after they walked out of peace talks at conciliation service ACAS [...]" Who's writing this stuff these days?! "LU slammed the leadership", "peace talks" etc! |

Disappointingly there's no mention of "Tube chiefs" though... try harder TfL press office, now you're in hyperbole mode we want the full deal! |
