Hello!
I make a Visit to London next week. What is the easyest way to get a ticket for Monday to Friday? I think, i will only use the tube. Which type of ticket should i buy? Thanks, Hans-Peter |

If only around Greater London, you can get a carnet of 10 Zone 1 singles for £15 instead of £20. I imagine a Zone 1/2 day ticket/travelcard would also do. If you'll be travelling after 0930, it will be £4.30 for the whole day's travel, if before, £5.30. This would also allow you to use the buses in that zone. Or you can buy a 7 day Zone 1 travelcard for £17, going up to £20.20 for Zone 1 and 2. You can also use these on the buses. If you will be doing a lot of travelling every day, this would be the best option. I'm sure people who use the Tube more regularly will post more detailed advice in due course. Have a look at http://tube.tfl.gov.uk/content/visit/german.asp Marcus |
