on Sun, 28 Apr 2013, remarked: Are there any roads that go under railways in Anglia? Most of them are underpasses at level crossings, which are a bit obvious when it comes to height restrictions (or so we think - bashes are frequent). Are there examples other than the A142 at Ely Station? There's one somewhere near Harwich, which is very similar to Ely and got a bus (coach?) bashed about a year ago. -- Roland Perry |

Are there examples other than the A142 at Ely Station? Colin Rosenstiel Barnwell Road and Coldhams Lane in Cambridge near the Sainsburys roundabout. The Coldhams Lane one feels quite low, though maybe because it's very skewed. Peter -- || Peter CS ~ Epsom ~ UK | pjcs02 [at] gmail.com | |

Chelmsford always used to have paint-scrapes under the railway bridge by the station, where the buses clipped it because they didn't stay between the markings. Strictly speaking, that isn't Anglia, of course ... It's served by Greater Anglia, and as far as most people are concerned East Anglia includes Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. So Chelmsford counts. -- David Cantrell | Minister for Arbitrary Justice Featu an incorrectly implemented bug |

Not too easy in Anglia, that one! Are there any roads that go under railways in Anglia? Of course there are. There's a very low one next to Chelmsford station, for example. -- David Cantrell | Minister for Arbitrary Justice If you can't imagine how I do something, it's because I have a better imagination than you |
