2015, tim..... remarked: Ah, so it seems they have calculated the fare owed on the basis of daily tickets [1] and given no "discount" for the use of seasons I make it about £37/day, which is close enough to their figure of £19.80 each way (at today's prices). It appears he's not getting a 'credit' for his £7.60 a day TfL max fare. ?would he be charged a second £7.60 for the unresolved journey back home? -- Roland Perry |

It seems to be a strange thing for them miss out, given the number of other financial matters covered in detail. Perhaps he was buying a single (paper) ticket from Marylebone to Wembley, on the way home? Wembley has to have some sort of significance. -- Roland Perry |

It seems to be a strange thing for them miss out, given the number of other financial matters covered in detail. Perhaps he was buying a single (paper) ticket from Marylebone to Wembley, on the way home? Wembley has to have some sort of significance. However: One of the other newspapers stories I read today does mention his return journey, and that he was "saving £24.40 a day", which results from a second unresolved journey fee. -- Roland Perry |
