A few days ago Waterloo was completely closed - letters to Metro and the Evening Standard complained of a complete lack of information at the station either from staff or the p.a. system.
Now Victoria is a completely closed. Tweets (in this mornings Metro) - again state a complete lack of information. And at Clapham Junction 'arrogant staff' do not help[ to make the crowded conditions any more bearable. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-Junction.html All sound par for the course. |

Something being printed in the Daily Mail proves that it didn't happen, unless corroborated by an actual news source. Rags that re-print tweets don't count for ****. I got nothing but excellent communication from Southern staff about what was going on. The only complaint I have is that when they re-routed my train to London Bridge instead, it didn't stop at any intermediate stations between Streatham Common and London Bridge - it just sat between them, not moving, for long periods. How long was your train? The platforms on the route via Peckham are only 8 coaches long so that might be the reason. Peter Smyth |

If you have some magic website to look it up on, it was the 09:23 from Thornton Heath. -- David Cantrell | Godless Liberal Elitist Arbeit macht Alkoholiker |
