A section of a London Tube line has been closed after contractors drilled a hole through the roof of an underground tunnel. Central Line services have been suspended between Marble Arch and White City after masonry fell on the track outside Shepherd's Bush station. |

Hardly any of them around at the mo. No excuse for the contractors that it was a non LU-tunnel - the Old Street area breach was onto the Northern City line, which is Network Rail's responsibility to safeguard - iirc the contractors had only checked their plans with LU (something like that). |
