Trams were got rid of in London because they got blocked by traffic, the rails were death traps for cyclists and they were out evolved by diesel engined buses. Ahh the Tram lobby say if we give them Tram only routes then they don't get blocked. But that of course becomes a cheapo railway. Have we the width on our roads for this ?
