Does anyone know where is the point in Greater London which is furthest
from:
a) a bus stop with a scheduled service (even only only weekly)
b) any form of scheduled public transport?

I assume someone must have calculated this[1] - but a quick Google
didn't find anything.

[1] And Diamond Geezer photographed it, Ian Visits written about a
Victorian proposal for an atmospheric railway there, and London
Reconnections written a slightly tl;dr analysis of why the Underground
doesn't go there.

station ?

But there are some difficulties of definition.

The middle of Richmond Park would be an obvious entry, but there is a park
bus service, every Wednesday, so perhaps Bushy Park or Hyde park.

I would guess somewhere on the outskirts, for example parts of Bromley.

Might the southern bit of Rainham marshes (where Coldharbour Lane runs
down towards Coldharbour Point) be a candidate?

Or Coldharbour Point itself if it's defined as "how long does it take to
walk to..."

I hope it is not the middle of a park because that would be cheating. I hope it is somewhere residential.

Define "furthest"?
As the crow flies?
By public footpath?
By surfaced road?

Noak Hill is probably a candidate. Using rough estimates by grid squares the furthest reaches are a nearly a couple of kilometers as the crow flies. The old 174 terminus at the site former Pentowan Cafe is about 2k by road. Widdrington Farm is a short walk across the fields but getting on for 3k by road.
