What's the phasing as far as access to the tube lines is concerned? I
thought the existing escalators would remain in use throughout.

Escalator 8 is currently being installed as part of the CTRL project. The
Northern ticket hall will add far better access to the Northern Line. At
present the entrances and connecting passageways are being replaced and
diverted.

As I understood. What I was trying to clarify was that the old ticket hall
(currently without ticket facilities) would remain in use throughout (give
or take a weekend closure or something like that).

Yes, the 'tube' ticket hall will be retained. The new booking office will
eventually be situated on the rear wall of the subway connecting that ticket
hall with the mainline and met ticket hall.

What about the old St Pancras ticket office/booking hall with that wooden
facade which has been in a number of films (or maybe another one just like
