And then when that's open the exsisting ticket hall (not that they sell any there these days) and subways will close for rebuilding. There's lots of stuff on the web about the St Pancras Eurostar/MML/Thameslink part of the development, is there any information anywhere about what the plans are for the tube side of things? I pass through the site every day and am curious as to exactly what they are doing Email me |

Escalator 8 is currently being installed as part of the CTRL project. The Northern ticket hall will add far better access to the Northern Line. At present the entrances and connecting passageways are being replaced and diverted. |

![]() "Colin Rosenstiel" wrote in message ... As I understood. What I was trying to clarify was that the old ticket hall (currently without ticket facilities) would remain in use throughout (give or take a weekend closure or something like that). Yes, the 'tube' ticket hall will be retained. The new booking office will eventually be situated on the rear wall of the subway connecting that ticket hall with the mainline and met ticket hall. |

What about the old St Pancras ticket office/booking hall with that wooden facade which has been in a number of films (or maybe another one just like it) -- Cheerz, Baz My keyboard is haunted by the ghost of the gendarme in " Allo, allo" - blame him for any typos |
